About Furtail Comics

The History

Furtail Comics was a company idea I thought up in 2011 while attending Baker College of Auburn Hills, Michigan. At the time I was still figuring out ways to make this happen while working on my web design and artwork techniques. Later on I caught a break as I was hired on as a designer for a web based company and soon after my design ideas and web building skills progressed even further. Finally after getting my associates degree in computer animation and a year at my job, I acquired all the knowledge and tools I needed to make a successful launch for my own comic book website. Then on August 30th 2013, after more than 2 years of hard work the dream had become a reality when the website was finally launched! Even still to this day, I have no intention of slowing down the progress of my company Furtail Comics.

The Company

Furtail Comics is an online web comic production company with its headquarters located in the state of Michigan. The company focuses on the comic book industry with an all animal cast of characters in each of Furtail Comic's many productions. The comic's time can range from the past to the future as well as many genres like fantasy, mystery, science fiction and so on. Furtail is also unlimited to the locations where the characters live or wind up in whether its the lowest point on earth or the farthest star in the universe. The real most important part of Furtail Comics is focusing on the key word known as "Variety". The reason why it's so important is because anthropmorphic animals (also known as furries) offer a huge variety for the company to work with. This applies when creating the stories, characters, and locations for the creativity of Furtails Comic's productions. What is put on to the site ranges from one page comic strips, comic books, graphic novels, and even short animated films. Furtail Comic's main purpose is to take full advantage of the internet to display the endless freedom of the online comic book creativity.

The Policy

All images as well as other content displayed on Furtail Comics is of all original creation and designed by the company itself. We do not make fan fiction characters of any kind or any (short) comic book stories relating to current animal franchises (Sonic, MLP, etc). For a heads up to all comic book readers, we will feature comics with adult content (not pornographic) but there will be a label on the comic book image with an "18+" to inform people of the age the comic book series or short comic is intended for.
